Fine Wine Tours

Steve was born and raised in Napa Valley. And he's been a Napa Valley Resident and wine connoisseur for nearly 40 years. Steve attended San Diego State in 1971 for business and after graduating moved back to Napa and provide property management services for several private vineyards and wine cellars. Steve retired from vineyard and estate management in 2010, after 38 years of successfully managing these estates. But it wasn't long before he was pulled back into the wine industry.

In 2012, Steve passed the Sommelier II test and became a certified Level 2 Sommelier. It was at this time he started Fine Wine Tours; a private and small-scale wine touring business. Steve saw a demand from folks seeking small, intimate wine tours rather than the large, party-bus style wine tours. And his years in the industry made him the perfect person to schedule tours, tastings, and private soirees with some of the most renowned vineyards in Napa and Sonoma. 

Steve's deep connections and personal relationships over the years make him one of the most knowledgeable and advanced wine touring businesses in the Napa and Sonoma Valleys. When Steve isn't giving tours or conducting a tasting, he's usually practicing his guitar skills or riding his bicycle up Redwood Canyon.
